Terms & refunds

Terms, in plain English.

The whole agreement on one page — how we scope work, how you pay, and exactly what happens if we miss a deadline. If anything here is unclear, ask before you order.

1. What we do

Daybreak Copy is a small distributed team that writes e-commerce product listings — title, bullet points, product description, and backend search terms — for U.S. sellers on Amazon, Shopify, and Etsy. Every order is defined by a written scope and a fixed price that you approve before any work begins. We work over email; you always deal with a person, not a queue.

2. Scope of work

Before we start, we send you a written scope: what's included, the fixed price, and the delivery window. That document is the agreement. If it isn't in the scope, it isn't part of the job unless you approve it in writing.

3. Payment

  • Single listings and packs: payment in full is due when you place the order.
  • Larger catalog projects: may be split into two milestones — 50% to start and 50% on delivery — when your scope says so, so neither side carries all the risk.

All prices are in U.S. dollars. You receive a receipt for every payment.

4. Turnaround & delivery

Each order carries a delivery window stated in writing before you pay — typically 24–48 hours for a single listing, with packs delivered in agreed batches. Work is delivered as an editable, paste-ready document you own once paid in full.

5. Refund policy

If we miss the delivery deadline we set, you get a full refund. No forms, no negotiation. The deadline that counts is the one written in your scope. This is the core of how we work: we'd rather return the fee than keep money for work that arrived late.

Refunds are about delivery and deadlines, not results. Once work is delivered on time, the fee is earned; a change of mind about on-time, in-scope work is handled through your included revision (below), not a refund. You can also cancel for a full refund any time before we start.

6. Revisions

Each listing includes one revision at no extra cost, as long as the request stays within the original scope — refining what we delivered, not adding new products or new requirements. Please send revision requests within 7 days of delivery.

7. Out-of-scope work

Anything beyond the approved scope — an extra product, a new deliverable type, or a rewrite because the product changed — is billed at a flat $95 per request, quoted and approved by you before we do it. You will never see an out-of-scope charge you didn't agree to.

8. What we don't do

Some work sits outside what we can responsibly take on. We do not:

  • Ask for or use your Seller Central (or other store) login — you paste the work in yourself;
  • Write listings for regulated categories, including supplements, medical products, and weapons;
  • Submit or publish listings for you, or act as your authorized representative;
  • Provide legal advice or interpret platform policy on your behalf as counsel.

9. No guaranteed outcome

We deliver written work to a professional standard. We do not guarantee any specific business outcome — sales, rankings, traffic, or approval by any platform — because those depend on your product, price, reviews, images, competition, and each platform's own decisions, all outside our control. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid us for it.

10. Your work is yours

On full payment, you own the delivered work outright and may use, edit, and publish it as you see fit. We keep our internal templates and checklists; the writing we produce for you is yours.

11. Confidentiality

We treat your product details and business information as confidential and use them only to do your work. We don't publish your listings as samples without your written permission.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in that jurisdiction.
